I soooo miss taking photographs regularly, and I miss posting them, so here are some photos from this past Labor day weekend and other miscellaneous events:
We spent the weekend up in the mountains with several families from our neighborhood. Let me just say, it was a good time :)
okay, for those of you who are afraid of tiny eight legged creatures, I wouldn't look beyond this point....

your still here. here it is:
Yes, the picture above is a spider. With another bug. Or, more specifically, eating another bug. And yes, that weird spiky, yellow, black and pinkish-reddish thing is part of the spider. No lie. And I have no idea what kind of spider this is, and if I made a world-wide new discovery of a new species of spider, yay me!
(and for all the spider-experts out there, no, I did not bring it home with me. I may have "accidentally" poked it with a stick and screamed like a wimp as it crawled all over the web. Then I may have wacked it with the stick. oops ;])
It was so windy up in the mountains, and I loved it. Jodie, her sister Erin (who's senior pictures i took), Kate, and I walked down our quarter-mile-long driveway and when we got to the road our hair blew ten times harder. I kept saying over and over again "I love wind, I love wind, I love wind". I finally announced that if you looked into my deepest heart and soul, you would find wind.
What did you do Labor day weekend? Which photo is your favorite?

ReplyDeleteI love the spider picture! It's delightfully creepy :) I went to the beach this weekend and school is crazy for me, too, so I haven't had time to post pictures yet. But I will soon! Your weekend looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. But I needed a warning about the spider picture. xD
