life as of late No. 2

what? no, I wasn't standing on the table to get these photos. Psh, what are you talking about?

this has been my makeup look for the past week. I'm seriously in love, and it only takes about five minutes! (you know I love a makeup look when I where it over three days in a row ;])

One thing I love about being on spring break is I can grab my camera whenever I want and go out and take some photos. I never realized how much I missed snapping away, and how much I need it. With my grandfather's condition unchanging in the hospital, photography is sort of my way of coping with stress.

I went to see the Hunger Games this weekend. Twice. Yep, it was just that good. I loved every minute of it. I thought the actors, sets, and the choices to leave out certain things were all smart and perfect. And I thought after seeing the movie I would get over my whole "everything I say or do reminds me of the hunger games" issue, but no, it strengthened it. For example:

1. me: "I'm gonna make a sandwich."
Hunger Games reference: sandwich=bread // bread=boy with the bread // boy with the bread=Peeta Mellark

2. me: "I'm gonna blog."
Hunger Games reference: blogging=computer // computer=electronic // electronic=District 3

3. me: "Okay guys, want to hear a joke?"
Hunger Games reference: joke=funny // funny=Jennifer Lawrence // Jennifer Lawrence=Katniss

Yeah, it's slightly unhealthy. I even wore this look to school on Thursday to honor the midnight premier :)

I've missed out on the beginning of winter. School is awesome, but you exactly can't go outside and snap a photo whenever you want to. Therefore, I didn't get to experience the first frost. But I can settle with the sixth ;)

stress-free again

It was refreshing, taking these photos. I felt relaxed, zero stress. School isn't even stressful, just long, and just taking, looking at, and editing these pictures were the perfect thing to lift the weight off my shoulders I didn't even know was there...
